Release notes August 2025

At Lexerta, we base our developments mainly on the wishes and requirements of our customers and users.

Several times a year we release new features, improvements and bug fixes.

New features

With this update, we introduce new features that further enhance the application and expand its user options.

Core of the requirement at fragment level (BE)

It is now possible to add a core of the requirement per fragment in the database. These are added to the database step by step.

Tags for legislation (BE)

In addition to the standard topics and subtopics, legislation can now be assigned additional tags. This helps you find the right legislation more quickly. The tags are added step by step.

Explanation / memo at fragment level (BE)

Additional information, such as memos or explanations, can be added to fragments in the database. These will also become available gradually.

Improvements

We’ve made several improvements to improve the application’s performance and optimize its user-friendliness.

Automatically compare versions (BE)

If a legislation has only one older version, a comparison with the current version is automatically displayed. If there are multiple older versions, you can choose which one to compare.

Expiration date in legislation (BE)

The expiration date of a document is now displayed on both a register line and in the database, if known.

Only relevant topics in filters (BE)

The topic filter within a register displays only topics that appear in that specific register. This allows you to search faster and more effectively.

Expanded register filters to include promulgation and expiration dates (BE)

It is now also possible to filter within a register by the promulgation or expiration date of a legislation.

Additional Document Information (BE)

On the details page of a register entry and in the database, additional information is displayed where available, such as citation title, informal title, abbreviation, publication type, regions, subject areas, and tags.

Bugfixes

We’ve made some minor improvements that further optimized the application’s stability and performance.

General

  • The user overview displayed a maximum of 100 users.

Tasks

  • Subtopics were not displayed in registry rows (BE).
  • The “Subject Area” filter in “Changes to be assessed” contained duplicate values ​​(BE).
  • The version comparison tool sometimes displayed an error when opened (BE).
  • The “Rules without a topic” counter on the details page of a registry was incorrect.
  • The relevance was not saved in “Changes to be assessed” when both relevance and status were entered in the list view.
