Release notes 2025-07

At Lexerta, we base our developments mainly on the wishes and requirements of our customers and users. Several times a year we release new features, improvements and bug fixes.

Implementation Database Belgium

Background

As of July 1, 2025, Pharius will have its own database for Belgium containing all legislation related to occupational safety, health, and the environment. While we have managed legislative data independently in the Netherlands for years, this is now also achieved in Belgium. This creates a solid foundation to make compliance for Pharius users simpler and more reliable.

What does this mean for users of the Belgian database?

We have deliberately chosen to keep the short-term impact limited. Users in Belgium can continue using Pharius as they are accustomed to, without disruptions. They will hardly notice that they are consulting legislation on our renewed platform instead of through an external database.

Access to the database

The completely new database with legislation (access based on a subscription) is accessible via the menu bar in the top right corner of the screen.

New structure for topics and subtopics

As of July 1, 2025, the external structure for topics and subtopics will be discontinued by ending the link with the external database. Pharius will now have a new structure managed entirely in-house that seamlessly aligns with the application’s capabilities.

This new setup, based on common themes in safety and environment, will soon be added and can be used as a filter when searching in registers. This will make categorizing legislation easier, and Pharius can provide more targeted suggestions for missing regulations.

Changes in news updates

Until July 1, 2025, news updates on certain legal changes were sourced from an external database and were not adjustable. From now on, these are replaced with clear summaries for all changes in legislation. This way, you can quickly see what a change requires from you, without unnecessary information. More efficient!

Hyperlinks for changes in legislation

Previously, Pharius provided a hyperlink to articles in the external database regarding changes. These links are no longer available. The articles remain visible but without a direct link to the external source.

Scope of legislation in the database

When compiling the new database, a clear scope was deliberately chosen: Only legislation truly relevant for compliance. Documents repealed before 2024 or those without any obligations have been omitted.

With Pharius, we help you focus on what truly matters: legislation relevant to your organization, with clear obligations. No excess of irrelevant documents, but a sharp and up-to-date overview of what is legally significant. This way, you as a user maintain overview and control over your compliance obligations.
