Belgian and European Legislation Now Fully Integrated into Our Own Database

Starting July 1st, Pharius will feature a fully self-managed database for Belgian and European legislation and regulations. This marks a key milestone in our European strategy—and, more importantly, a practical improvement for your everyday use of Pharius.

Belgian laws and regulations are now directly accessible within the platform. Including legislative changes, additional context, and with no external links. Everything is clearly organized in one place: your compliance environment.

What’s changing for you?

New in the menu bar: ‘Database’

From July 1st, you’ll find a new ‘Database’ section in the main menu of Pharius. This gives you direct access to the full body of Belgian legislation. You can search, filter, and browse by relevant themesclearly structured and fully integrated with the rest of your compliance management.

No more external links

Previously, Belgian legislation sometimes linked to external sources. That’s now a thing of the past. All documents, legal articles, and amendments are now fully available within Pharius. Including context, explanations, and relevant connections to obligations, tasks, and notifications.

More context, more control

Because we manage the database ourselves, we can add extra information—like explanations for legislative changes or summaries. AI plays a role here too, for example by summarizing amendments. Our content specialists oversee quality and remain ultimately responsible for the information provided.

What does this mean for you?

Work more efficiently
No more switching between sources. Everything you need to stay compliant is now available directly in Pharius.

Always up to date and complete
You’ll be faster informed about new or amended legislation—with clear explanations.

More opportunities for further development
With full control over the Belgian database and no reliance on third parties, we can develop the platform in a more targeted and responsive way.

A logical next step in a broader vision

This development fits within the broader European strategy of Pharius and our parent company, Lexerta. As you may have read in the article “The Step Towards Europe: Our Own Belgian Database”, owning our database is essential for combining legal quality, speed, and scalability.

For you as a user, this means: more control, better support, and a future-proof platform.
